SOLVED Re: Remote X session (WinXP -> Fedora Core 1)

Mostly the result of user error. The iptables rules that were supposed
to allow a remote XDMCP session came *after* a general deny all rule in
the main chain on the FC1 box. Fixed that by inserting the new rules
instead of appending. That, coupled with the stupid user finally
learning the correct way to create new X-Win32 sessions resulted in
success. I can now get a login screen to my FC1 box in my cold basement
from my WinXP laptop via wireless while sitting in my nice warm living
room :-)
Next step is to repartition the laptop and try to get linux installed
properly...
