Which brings up a problem.  2.6.3 wouldn't compile for me.  Complained
about NR_IRQS not being defined in a function and bombed out.  Oddly
enough, I've had this error before trying to compile things under 2.6.x.
 Nothing I could find in google groups, etc.  Does gcc-3.3 not like the
new kernel?
