Just a word of warning :

If you're going to use the NForce 2 drivers -- don't. I had the most 
ghastly sounds coming out of my AMD system after installing them. Use 
ALSA instead. I'm using Fedora Core 1. Tried the tarball and the rpm 
package -- no difference ! The sounds that come out seem to be out of 
sync or something.
