nvu, the little "front page" clone recently released as 0.10, comes as a
tarball -- that does not create its own directory when opened. so if
you want to inspect the thing -- or, for that matter, to install it
someplace -- you need to create a directory, dump the thing in there,
and then open up the tarball. otherwise, it will splatter itself all
the hell over the current directory.
they haven't gotten the tarball right, which gives me little hope for
the application itself.
too bad -- it's not really a bad idea, if it puts out decent code.
