Nice analysis; will file away for use later.

In any case, my 224M (the rest is use for the onboard video) is just
small enough to render my P4 2.4Gz effectively slower than my AthlonXP
1800+ for most things, even when a low mermory footprint WM is in use.
As reported earlier, hard drive is faster than the AthlonXP system. As
soon as I get a round tuit, I'll put in another memory stick.
