Libranet fonts ?

I'm pondering Libranet, but one of the things I can't get past is just 
how horrid the fonts look on screen. Web pages are where the problem is 
really evident - even the fonts on Libranet.com have a bad case of the 
jaggies and debian.org is almost unreadable.

Is there some way to fix this? Is it a problem only in the 2.7 Classic I 
downloaded?

Anyone know where I could stea...borrow a copy of the current 2.8.1 ;-)
