linux on laptop

I am looking for a laptop which would have:
1. Wireless capability. 
2. Ability to use a detachable usb keypad.
3. Runs linux.

I would much prefer to get such a creature preconfigured,
but am willing to install linux on it if necessary.

Any suggestions welcome.

I have seen an ad for a laptop with linux preloaded, and
to my surprise it is a centrino chip. I thought that linux
didn't run on centrino chips. The wireless stuff doesn't
work, though, you have to buy a separate wireless card.
