All sata controllers are built into motherboards in Oz. So as such yes I
have installed quite
a few mostly with Asus A7N8xx and Gigabyte N400 motherboards. Only two
installed
were Soltek. Of all of them the Asus and the Gigabyte performed the best
and I have had no
problems with the sata drives. I must admit that I have only installed
Mandrake or Suse.
