I would like to define us as a community where use of linux draws us together. 
  As individuals, we have other interests and quirks.  I like that humor and 
(sometimes) sarcasm make it to the list.  I didn't get the original message 
for this thread (thanks Doug!) so I am wondering what this is all about.

We do have a general topics list but I have not seen any traffic on it since I 
signed up.
