Problems booting Mandrake 10 beta after installation

Some advance... but still no solution...

I erased the partitions I created to install Mdk10 beta so the partition
layout returned as it used, and everything was as before: I can't Mandrake
91 as usual.

So it has to be something with the partition layout that its certainly
changed after Mandrake installation...

I booted a knoppix session and edited /etc/fstab to reflect the new
partition layou after reinstalling Mdk10 beta... but still I'm having the
same problem when booting...

Rigth now I'm trying to use a loadlin.exe to boot directly from my windows
partition, but I have to figure it out how to make this thing run inside
windows ME...

Is there a loadlin version for linux?

I'm thinking that the vmlinuz kernel has harcoded the device partition what
to look for while booting... unless you pass it as an option (loadlin has a
parameter for this)... but how can I pass a parameter to the kernel?

Other approach migth be to use rdev which is a DOS program...
is there any version of this for linux?

Again... any help would be appreciated

Chucho!
