I installed this. In my opinion, all you really get is the text from the WP
file. All equations, for example, are simply gone. Page formatting (e.g,
headers and footers) are wrong. Most paragraphs have not kept any useful
formatting. To the point that each rather ok line is followed by a line with
one word. I think all it kept was the occasional bold text and paragraph
breaks.
So, I think this is a work in progress. And I can see why it is not yet
actually part of the OO/SO suite.
Current winner (still): Word -> SO
Thanks for the pointer. I had not considered that there may be a stand-alone
conversion tool for this.
