Problems booting Mandrake 10 beta after installation

I've never used Mandrake, but normally when you get this kind of mess
immediately after the install it suggests that either the install media
was bad, and the installation didn't complete, or you have unsupported
hardware.

You can try passing:
init=/bin/bash
and see if that gets you anywhere, but quite honestly, i'd suggest doing
the install again to see if things improve at all.  Its possible that the
updated partition table confused the installer.
