spam out of control?

Do you run your own mail server? The reason I ask, is that I have found that
my one ISP address (I have never used) gets spam, about two a day, and I
have 2 accounts with myrealbox.com which I have not used in years. One of
those receives 30-80 spams per day, when I check them about once a week.
One, I have not checked in a month, so it will drop off their listing. I
never get spam on my own server, having several domains, and many users. I
go to great lengths to put in several steps or levels of spam protection.
Don't get me wrong, they try plenty <g>
