Where did you hear such a pat answer to the cause of dimming? (Sounds 
like the sort of non-science that blames every weather event on the evil 
humans - especially the evil Americans and other westerners).

After reading several articles on the subject I've seen none that claim 
to *know* the source of dimming. And it has happened before - long 
before it could be blamed on human effects.

The scariest thing I read is that last time this happened, the British 
Isles went from deciduous trees to icecap in less than 100 years.
