close, but not exactly right. i am this very day gathering information 
for a long magazine piece that, when it hits, will blow the top off of 
much that goes on in our government, at all levels. and it will 
demonstrate that it is not a matter of political party but of a 
particular industry. and it's not the one you think.

and why might that be? why would companies find benefit in sending jobs 
elsewhere? and no, "because people will work for less" is not the 
answer, though *why* people elsewhere will work for less is part of the 
answer.
