The interesting thing is that the article I saw in a
newspaper said that this worm was not exploiting any
weakness in MS software, but was an example of social
engineering.

This really is too much. 

Imagine having software that automatically runs executable
files.

Imagine having an OS which forces users to run as root
all the time.

Imagine having an OS which has virtually no builtin
security.

Well, you don't have to imagine it. You know, if MS
built cars, the govt would force them to recall and fix
them. Forget MS's monopoly business, make them responsible
for this mess and force them to recall and fix their
insecure OS.

Disclaimer: I heavily invest in MS, because I believe
there is a sucker born every minute.
