I am sorry for being dense, but...

What do you need a PICK implementation for?  I haven't used PICK since the mid 
80's.  I can't think of a thing that PICK provides that can't be done with 
PostgreSQL or MySQL.  I admit some of the things are not native to the 
database, but they can still be done.
