It's an interesting project, though. I'm not interested in using it,
but I'm sure there are some (many?) that might see it as a way to
try Linux without having to commit to it.

I'm happy not to have to rely on Windows for anything. I do keep a box
around to run the occasional game and for testing purposes, but for
absolutely everything else, I use Linux or Solaris (yes, I have an
Ultra 10 with Solaris 8 here). They do everything I need done more
reliably.
