What or who you care about isn't relevant. The reality is that the
hardcore M$ whores are usually the folks running the IT departments,
leading by example to indoctrinate future hardcore M$ whores. THe system
feeds itself.

Linux needs to be put through that phase of maturity. The key difference
is that Linux has built in securty that will prevent those with a clue
from being vulnerable to such crap. And if holes are found, they need to
be, and will be fixed prompty. Hoping that Linux never gets critical mass
because you fear that it won't hold up isn't the future that I'm hoping
for.
