Quite so. I applied the XFS patch after applying the preempt patch. It
applied without errors, but it was quite noisy. To the uninitiated, the
noises might cause a panic. I could write a step on the subject, I suppose.
It isn't complicated, just noisy. I think I'd applied a few other random
patches that contributed to the overall noise level.
