I have had this in 0.6 and 0.7.  Forcing focus elsewhere in the app seemed
to help here as well. But I have not found 'the thing' to get out of it
every time. It does not happen with the pre-compiled 0.6 when run on Caldera
3.1.1, But it does when compiled locally and run on Gentoo.

It is currently high on my list of annoyances with Firebird.
Mainly because I have not (on Gentoo and KDE) sorted out getting a link in
an Evolution mail message to start netscape/mozilla/firebird. So I cut and
paste. Evolution does do this on SUSE under KDE. It is not in an Evolution
menu. It must be in some God forsaken gnome place.
