That is probably one difference, My home network gets addresses from
a DHCP server in our Co-op's basement. The 2000AP happily lets this
happen. In fact, this worked quite transparently; however, the result is
that all machines are on a different network than the AP's lan, where
the webadmin hangs out. I tried putting the 2000AP on this network,
either by setting a static address for the AP's lan that is on our
network, which was not accepted, or by telling the AP to get a dynamic
address just like the rest of us. The first was not allowed by the web
admin. The second resulted in me not being able to access the AP.
