Nope. Then I do not get an address. So I will next try a TP cable and a
fixed address. All for that nice Web admin. I hope that after it is
configured for encryption it will allow wireless access to the admin. As
there is only one cable connection, you get either uplink or a local
connection, but not both! So any admin work would require disconnect
from the uplink. Surely not how it is supposed to be.
Have you found out if there is a difference between the 2000AP and the
2000AP+ ? I ask because there is a firmware upgrade for the '2000AP'
without the '+'. But, oddly, I see no product called simply '2000AP'.
Only '2000AP+'. I sent a question to D-LINK support, but no answer
arrived. I will try again.
There is a 10000AP as well as a 10000AP+, do D-LINK have make a product
distinction like this in the past.
I do not want to mess up the access point by a stupid upgrade mistake.
