Encryption must match in the WAP conf and the card conf. On the WAP's
that I have configured, 3COM access point 6000's via a browser, you can
log into the WAP and can select either none, 40 or 128 encryption. Then
what I did was select type a passphrase. I entered the passphrase then
clicked the "Specify shared keys" option. This grayed out my passphrase
and I clicked a link that open a window and had the hex that it
converted my passphrase to. Then use converted hex on the card
config. May seem like a lot of trouble but the passphrases weren't
working for some reason.
IIRC, the SSID should be the same on both.
