SUSE 9.0 mumblings

If you go straight to SAX2 (ctrl-f2 -> kdesu sax2) you'll find the ability to add in as many pointing devices as you wish. I had this hell with laptops since I wanted to use a RAT instead of the gay touchpad that came with the laptop. To get my USB rat to work I ended up losing the pad... bad way to reboot. Removing the default "auto" pointing device and adding in both a ps/2 mouse (/dev/psaux) and usb mouse (/dev/input/mice) allows me to use both, whichever way I choose. In earlier versions of SuSE SAX and YAST had distinctly different mouse config tools, but I believe 8.2 started consolidating them. Either way, there are hacks you can make to XF86Config but I'm happier having Sax2 do them for me.
