You could try hooking it up to a different box, and see if its any better
off, but i doubt that.  You could also try dd'ing the drive, and attempt
to mount the image as a loopback.

You might want to try educating your coworkers on what an incredibly
stupid idea it is to yank the plug out of a computer.
