Adapted 1200A PCI Raid Controller

Folks,

I have just come into possession of an Adaptec 1200A Raid 0/1 Controller.

I would like to use it on my 1 GHz Athlon RH9 2.6 kernel box.

I am very unfamiliar with raid card config under linux. This card uses A HPT370A chipset (Highpoint) which appears to be supported in the kernel. But as far as setting up the controller and or getting it to boot from the controller I have no idea.

Anyone have any weblinks etc that they have found useful. If you have specific Adaptec 1200A stuff that would be great.
