KMyMoney doesn't seem to be available anymore and KMyMoney2
doesn't do investment accounts yet.
I played with the Moneydance trial version. It's a Quicken
style package. Looks pretty good.
I've been using GnuCash 1.6.8 for over a year. I stick with
that version because it works and most of the development
since has been stuff I don't need.
What sets it apart from the other packages is the account
view. It is a hierarchical view that presents your balances
grouped into summaries that show you where you stand without
alot of clutter. You can set up your accounts to show as much
(or as little) detail as you want, but it makes you want
to set up your accounts to your advantage. I can see at a
glance the in/out of my money and at tax time I get most of
the info I need to pay for it.
There is a also package called emma that doesn't seem to be
active anymore. It has the same hierarchical account view and
does most of what you need except for split transactions. It
is only 650k and the dependencies are not as nuts as GnuCash.
