Debian as server platform?

As a home user, my debian lindows does just fine.

This cheapo box is a mail server, name server, and print
server. Volume is of course low.

Debian is so simple to configure and update. I'll never
go back, unless the debian movement goes away.

I haven't found any software yet not in debian format.

I came straight from col 2.4 into debian. The only
difference I can see is the startup scripts hang out
in /etc/init.d, not /etc/rc.d/init.d. Otherwise, it is
very similar.
