What sort of Anti-Spam solution does this list use

Folks,

One thing I have noticed about this list is that it doesn't send me loads of spam, unlike other lists (samba) which when i subscribed to them I now get torrents of "Microsoft Updates".

What sort of software is the list using to kill this and the many virii that come through?
