If memory doesn't fail, the Saturnalia were related with Saturn and gave
way to Carnival, not Christmas. On December they celebrated the Sol
Invictus (meaning the Invincible Sun). Of course I may be wrong, more
than two thousand years have passed and my memory is not what it used to
be.
