Amen, brother.  The biggest number of screwed up new system install complaints 
over the years on the gentoo list are from people who didn't read the fine 
print and then wondered why nothing worked.  Typically, they didn't even know 
what they had omitted and this had to be extracted from them piecemeal.

The original request in this series included a comment something like "I don't 
understand what I've read," so I have a bad feeling.
