Not a cheap solution, but two things come to mind:
1) At least one manufacturer is building an all-in-one pc a little thicker
than a standard flatscreen with disk, cdrom, ethernet, etc.
2) I really drool for one of the Sony 10" laptops, but I haven't heard whether
anyone has been successful loading linux on one of these beasts.
