West 'By God' Virginia, but now live & work in the Heart of Dixie. Go

PS.  I used the term pub because to me it implies 1) a place that serves beer 
& 2) encourages convivial companionship; i.e., a neighborhood tavern. 
Unfortunately, we mostly just have bars, around here, which just isn't the 
same thing.
