So how do we get the list moving?

My guess is that the list might need a distro associated with it.  For 
example, the SuSE list is loaded with volume, much of it from people 
who are clearly new or newer to linux.  The problem with the SuSE list 
is that there is no room for <OT> stuff on the list.  The list na**s 
(you can figure out the missing letters) are pretty intolerant of <OT> 
stuff, so it, too, is boring, but has good volume.  I think that it is 
Skippy's responsibility to come out with a nice distro, with 2.6 
kernel, latest glibc, latest qtlibs, latest gcc, latest rpm, and then 
he has to offer free install support.  We can probably steal and 
upgrade Lizard from some old Caldera distro; they certainly don't need 
any of that stuff anymore.
So Skippy, time to get to work!
