The bash script which watches the pipe saves all the files with a unique
date-time stamp.

My major concern would be how to identify each student's work. What if
someone wanted to play dirty and contaminated the site with hundreds of
files with various student names in them?

Maybe giving each student a unique id number might help.

OR, maybe just use hardcopy and forget about the fancy uploading
stuff!
