Gnome-terminal fails with Illegal Instruction

Hi All,

Yet another problem -- I'm getting an error on Fedora Core. I was 
actually able to get gnome-terminal running for a while -- until I 
installed the tools for DocBook authoring, and now it fails with 
"Illegal instrcution". Doesn't dump core and no errors inside 
/var/log/messages.

Has anyone had this happen? I'm pretty sure something was overwritten 
when I installed the 100+ MB of tools for DocBook, but I really don't 
know what, and I really miss the transparency setting in gnome-terminal, 
not to mention the tabs !

Yes, I am that shallow!
