i have a peculiar little issue that i need to resolve and master today.
n.p.r. wants me to do a little space piece for one of their programs
tomorrow. i am supposed to go to wshu in fairfield tomorrow morning to
record the thing. we got two feet of snow, and going anyplace is and
shall remain problematic. what to do?
i have good microphones and so on here and a decent sound card. it
occurs to me that i ought to be able to do it in a high quality mp3 and
email it to them (the show is out of l.a.).
what i do not know is what the best linux application is for mp3
encoding. ideally, i'd use something which has a nice mixer front end,
so i can screw around with it (and not have to start at the beginning
if i kick a word) and then save directly to mp3.
any suggestions?
