Fedora, IMHO, is now the equivalent of the Mandrake Cooker, i.e. nice but not
necessarily ready for public consumption, unless you like raw meat.  

Red Hat has hinted (to the consternation of many users) that they intend to use
fedora as a testing ground (read: bleeding edge packages) for their for-hire
enterprise editions.

Participating in the user group is definitely not worth it for me.  I stuck it
out for a few days, long enough to find out that the rules for upgrading were
being developed on the fly, not well thought out before hand.

I'm still hoping that Novell will understand that maintaining an inexpensive,
stable, well-supported  SUSE variant is in their best interests as a tool for
selling more exspensive enterprise versions.
