Maybe everything is working.

I have certainly been hitting this list with questions.

This may mean that linux on the desktop has stalled.

Or, the distros are getting easier to use. 

Or, people are answering their own questions. I find that by the time I have
writen a request for help to this list, the act of writing the problem down
often points me in the direction of the solution.
