No, I suppose it could be something else.

a message flashes by 
Autochik cannot find...( flashes by fast)
then the screen
"Fatal System Error"
 "Session manager initialization system process terminated unexpectedly"

doesn't sound good does it

I have recovered any important files, but reinstalling everything will be a 
real PITA.
