pcmcia question on gentoo

   This will only apply to those who are using wireless pcmcia. I have gentoo
running on my laptop, also 2 pcmcia cards. one is my xircom which runs
flawlessly. I have added a dwl-650, bottm of the line. The system reconizeses it
just fine, but since I do not have a wireless station to bradcast to to it, I can
not check it for operations. Now I have created a net.wlan0 from net.eth0 and
rc-updated init. & set the iface_wlan0=:dhcp". I may not, most like not, have
this setup properly. If someone has done this for gentoo or knows where some
really good docs are, can not really find what it takes there, I would appreciate
it.

   Also my floppy drive does not seem to want to work, it appears that devfsd has
failed to reconize it or set it up. The system sees the drive ok. I can go back
to cd install and it works fine there.  On the new install of gentoo, have they
setup the system to read /boot and at system login removed it from mounted
status?
