The key here, for compatibility, for those who haven't seen the DWL900AP+ or 
the DWL2000AP+, is that these devices connect through the ethernet port. 
Whereas many (most) access points connect via the ethernet port, clients 
usually use PCI, PCMCIA, etc.  What's great about these 2 models is that you 
can configure them to be an access point, a client or a bridge.  There's 
another mode; but I can't remember what it is.  Also, you can only use one 
mode at a time.  Having a client connect via the ethernet port facilitates OS 
neutrality.
