I use Courier-IMAP. Seems to work OK. Just runs and runs. Combined with
a proxy on my firewall I can access my desktop computer's e-mail from
the outside. It even made it easy to set up SquirrelMail to let me
access the mail from any browser. I'm quite happy with the setup.
