Related to Transferring virtual domain

I did not understand the DNS update.. Because DNS is using one IP address and
the nameserver...

I want to keep the nameserver and IP   of the domain as it is...So where i need
to change for DNS? Yes the server where i am moving the domain that is of
differnt ip address. But where i need to change for the DNS update..Please
advice me...
