mozilla causing system lockups?

I'm using Mozilla 1.5 with no problems, on a RH9 box running XFCE4. No
lockups here, though it did crash my X server once (but only once in the
last 3 months!) The Java plugin I'm using is from Blackdown JRE
(http://www.blackdown.org). Maybe it's the Java plugin ? Is it site
specific?
