Slow printing on RHL 9

According to

it's a postscript capable printer.
http://hp.sourceforge.net/ agrees

It's using the standard Postscript driver, which should just work :-(

Hmmm... there's a setting to convert text to postscript that's 
enabled... I'll try turning that off and seeing what happens...
