Is this really necessary -> WARNING VIRUS FOUND!!!

Is it really necessary to send these out to the entire list?  It 
accomplishes absolutely nothing while taking up bandwidth.  

If people aren't bright enough to configure their virus scanners not to
spam the list perhaps these could be screened out at the linux-users
server?
