Don't add the partition number, (3) just do fdisk -l /dev/sda. If there
is no free space listed, then you have one of 2 choices.
1. Backup, resize, and restore
2. Remove the old kernel RPM's as suggested.
Number 2 is *highly* recommended unless you need an excuse to test your
backup methodology.

Everything is ext3. I don't know if you can grow it or not. Another
reason why I don't ext3. (there used to be resize2fs for ext2 but I
don't know about ext3)
