Sounds like you have a valid reason to post suggestions to the XFCE
developers. I'm sure there is development under way for an XFCE4
session manager, so feedback is the appropriate way to affect the
process.

I can't post to nor can I unsubscribe from the bloody XFCE list, since
the list manager (not the developer) is one of those idiots who blocks
all posts from the comcast.net domains. Fortunately other list managers
take a more benign view, and I certainly don't see any spam on those
lists.
